Huh? You were there too? Must've missed you...
I put the lack of "Kids" down to three things:
1) They didn't realise how short on time they were, the stage manager made some throat-cutting movements to kill the show after the first encore. There was something or other on next, after all...
2) They don't know how great a song Kids actually is.
3) Kids is a song that the old (2 person) MGMT can play better. Hmmm, that would go for Time to Pretend as well.
All in all, I thought it was a pretty good concert, though I would have liked to see the openers - they sounded interesting as well. If I had to compare it to some band I have never seen, T-Rex would fit the bill!
